Have you got your Privacy Act straight? You may have heard of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) that came from Europe and now the newest Privacy law going into effect January 1, 2020 is the CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act). This new privacy law will apply to certain businesses which collect personal identifiable information from residents of California.
If you collect this data from your website, or CRM etc it will become crucial that you observe the law and follow the rules.
